Taipei City Fire Department

The 1st District HQ of the Taipei City Fire Department and Gongguan Shopping District Development and Promotion Association will jointly hold the “2022 Zhongzheng District Disaster Prevention Event” event in Gongguan Shopping District (Lane 24 , Section 4, Roosevelt Road, Zhongzheng District) from 15:00pm to 17:00 pm on April 16, 2022. In addition to the wonderful stage performances and a quiz contest, this event also combines various disaster prevention propaganda booths and disaster experience vehicles.
 
Apart from the wonderful stage performances and a quiz contest, a level-breaking task will be included in this event. In this activity, the public can learn disaster prevention knowledge such as smoke alarms, fire extinguishers, CPR, and disaster prevention Apps. Once the public experience these activities, they will get a stamp on the activity card. Then, a wonderful gift (limited quantity available) will be given after finishing the task.
 
Various disaster prevention Apps can be downloaded. For example, “Taipei City Disaster Prevention App” provides information such as weather and rainfall as a reference and preparation. "Video call 119 App" can help you to transmit incident images and GPS coordinates to the 119 Emergency Dispatch Center when the disaster occurs . This will shorten the time it takes for firefighters to reach the incident area. "Taiwan Oh My Guard App" can activate the life chain and call for volunteers as soon as possible in the event of OHCA. Volunteers will perform CPR and AED for more chances of successful resuscitation before ambulance arrival.
 
Taipei City Fire Department invites the public to join the event. We hope that the public can learn the correct concept of disaster prevention through this event so that they can self-help as well as help each others during disasters.
