In case of fire, please dial 119
On the occurrence of public security or traffic accidents, please dial 110

1.When emergencies occur, such as fire, injury, car accident and so on, please directly dial 119, and the Fire Department will dispatch fire trucks and ambulances to provide immediate assistance. In case of crime, theft or traffic accidents, please dial 110, the Police Department will send out police officers to investigate the crime. For other civil affairs, please dial 1999 call center.
2.In the event of major natural disasters, such as typhoons and earthquakes, Taipei City Government will establish Taipei City Emergency Operations Center (EOC) and twelve other Districts will simultaneously establish their local Emergency Operations Centers. Meanwhile, if encounter any hardship, please report to 1999 call center, it will notify proper units to handle such hardship.
3.While EOC is established, the Taipei City Government will set up “Disaster Prevention Site” on its website, disclosing the most updated information regarding the disasters, cancellation of work and school, shelter condition, opening and closing of sluice gates, traffic and hospitals. Moreover, the information can be acquired by listening to the Taipei City Government Radio (FM93.1 and AM1134).
4.When nature disasters strike, please keep yourself safe and avoid entering any dangerous regions. Therefore, if residential buildings are in danger and not suitable for living, please proceed to the nearest temporary emergency shelter.
