Taipei City Fire Department donates ambulances to Ukraine. TAIWAN CAN HELP! Continuing Taiwan's Great Love.

Taipei City Fire Department has accepted an invitation from the Taiwan Association Of Community Advancement to donate two ambulances for emergency medical services in Ukraine. The donation ceremony will occur at 10 a.m. on June 30, 2023, at the Shengang Township Office in Changhua County.

In addition to assisting in international humanitarian disaster relief efforts, Taipei City Fire Department actively engages in exchanges and cooperation with various regions worldwide, taking the initiative to contribute to the international community and embodying the spirit of “TAIWAN CAN HELP”. The two donated ambulances have outstanding performance and are equipped with stretchers, first aid kits, and other medical equipment. They can be immediately deployed for emergency medical services, assisting Ukraine in its urban life-saving missions.

The existing fleet of ambulances in the Taipei City Government's Fire Department are all donated by charitable organizations or individuals. To make good use of the goodwill of the donors, when an ambulance reaches its minimum service life and remains in usable condition, it will be prioritized for donation to allied countries, sister cities, domestic disaster response organizations or volunteer groups, and public welfare organizations. This ensures that the love and generosity of the donors are maximized, carrying forward Taiwan's spirit of love.
