On July 28, 2017, Public Safety inspection unit carried out an uninformed inspection at designated area in Taipei Rail Station. There are 4 Areas including Taipei Railways Administration (Taipei Rail Station), Taipei Rapid Transportation Corporation (MRT Taipei Main Station), and cooperation of Guarantee-responsibility space utilization at Taipei front metro mall. During the inspections, we noticed violations of public safety, fire prevention safety and food hygiene safety.
On august 4, 2017, we sent out agents to re-inspect those violated areas, Taipei Railways Administration (Taipei Rail Station) has improved their public safety to the standard. Therefore, notes for violations were removed; Taipei Rapid Transportation Corporation (MRT Taipei Main Station) has revamped their food hygiene to qualify to the standard. And for cooperation of Guarantee-responsibility space utilization at Taipei front metro mall, they are still under the supervision of inspectors because they were not opened during the re-inspection. Our agent will follow up until they rectify their problems. In addition, the violation of fire safety equipment at Taipei Railways Administration (Taipei Rail Station) and cooperation of Guarantee-responsibility space utilization at Taipei front metro mall will still be inspected until they have proper corrections.
Taipei City Fire Department and relate departments will constantly supervise unqualified locations and follow up until everything has been corrected. During the reforming period, we will strictly request all management units and departments for strengthening their emergency response actions in order to ensure the safety of all citizens and customers.
