II. The Hydraulic Engineering Office is responsible for delimiting areas of water recreation activities, inspection of water activities and facility maintenance in river resorts.
III. The police department is responsible for enforcing regulations and recording violations
IV. Taipei City Fire department is responsible for water safety and rescuing.
V. The management unit of water recreation activities in parks and lakes is the Parks & Street Lights Office based on the Statute for Management of Taipei City Parks.
VI. The management unit of water recreation activities in Taipei City Waterbird Refuge is the Animal Protection Office based on the Wildlife Conservation Law.
VII. The management unit of water recreation activities in school swimming pools is the Department of Education.
VIII. The management unit of water recreation activities in sport centers and other swimming pools is the Department of Sports.
IX. The management unit of water recreation activities at hillsides and rivers is the Geotechnical Engineering Office.
